The Craft

Smaller, deeper, more personal

A celebration cake lives or dies on the personal note. Kanya begins every celebration commission with one question: what do you want people to experience when they taste it? The flavour profile, the silhouette, even the colour follow from that answer.

Most celebration cakes are one or two tiers. The smaller the cake, the more the craft matters — there is less surface to hide behind and more reason to make every detail count.
